It started to show up in late February 2023 in 24 oz. ![]() On October 3rd 2022, it was announced at NACS that there was going to be a LiveWire inspired permanent addition to Hard Mountain Dew. Hard LiveWire Variant Main article: Hard LiveWire The Hard Mountain Dew line was released to stores on February 22nd, 2022 in three states, that is Florida, Tennessee, and Iowa and since then, it is slowly rolling out to more states as time goes on. ![]() Additionally, Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast was officially announced on January 28th, 2022, and had further confirmation that it would be joining the other previously three announced flavors in the initial release for February of 2022. Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast was trademarked on September 27th, 2021, and later that year, images of the drink were leaked online. The Twitter account then stated a tentative planned release date of February-March 2022 for a limited number of states. The line of alcoholic Mountain Dew flavors was officially announced on August 10th, 2021 by the official Hard Mountain Dew Twitter account, and three flavors were shown off for the first time: Original, Black Cherry, and Watermelon. Despite this, Pepsi themselves aren't involved with Hard Mountain Dew. The line is manufactured by the Boston Beer Company, owner of alcoholic beverages such as Samuel Adam's, and distributed by Blue Cloud Distribution, a new subsidiary of PepsiCo. Hard Mountain Dew is a line of alcoholic Mountain Dew flavors with 5% alcohol, non-caffeinated Malt beverage with Natural Flavors, Artificial Sweeteners (Sucralose & Acesulfame Potassium), Certified Color, Zero (0 G) added Sugar, and FD&C Yellow #5.
